Recently, Elon Musk declared on Twitter that he would be “up for a cage fight” with Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook. The CEO of Meta answered by posting a screenshot of Musk’s statement along with the request, “send me location.”
The background here is that Musk has been mocking Zuckerberg on Twitter with zingers like “Zuck my ” ever since I recently disclosed more details about Meta’s upcoming Twitter rival. Cheers erupted when Meta’s chief product officer Chris Cox said that the business believes artists desire a “sanely run” version of Twitter during a recent internal all-hands meeting. In a recent podcast conversation with Lex Fridman, Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, stated, “I’ve always thought that Twitter should have a billion users.”
Musk’s two-word response to this article’s publication was “Vegas Octagon.” Then he wrote on Twitter, “I have this great move that I call ‘The Walrus,’ where I just lie on top of the other guy and do nothing.”
It’s going to be a great match between Musk versus Zuckerberg as far as technology billionaire CEOs actually fighting. The 51 year old Musk, who grew up in South Africa, has the upper hand on Zuckerberg’s physical size because he talked about his involvement in real hardcore street fights when he was young. In the meantime, Zuckerberg’s 39 and he’s an aspirational MMA fighter who has already won a Brazilian JiuJitsu tournament. He’s also said that in less than 40 minutes, he just completed the grueling Murph Challenge workout.
